While attending The University Of Illinois I acted as an assistant teacher to Ballet Folkloric in the Spring of 2023 and Jazz Funk in the Fall of 2023. I have also served as a guest teacher for various classes and workshops in the Urbana-Champaign area. My teaching subject specialization is House Dance focusing on foundational movements, improvisation, and grooves. I teach under the philosophy that context and confidence are fundamental to learning new dance forms and that self-expression and comfort should be prioritized to find oneself within an aesthetic of a form.
